Via the Rara Avis Foundation, Bursaries, for Excellent Achievements in Academic, Music and Sport, are part of the value added to E-Square Education learners and students. More than R15m was donated to deserving learners and students during the past 25 years by supportive Partners, Trusts, Donors, Foundations and Directors of E-Square Education.
Lili launched the Rara Avis Foundation as she strongly believes that education should not be about teaching learners in order to make money, but instead to strive to make money in order to provide a consistent learning platform. The Rara Avis Foundation is a platform for funders to get involved in making a much-needed difference in uplifting the education standard and making an impact in the Eastern Cape community and South Africa.
We ensure that children are able to build their self-esteem and understand the importance of themselves, their environment and their friends. We encourage learners to communicate with their teachers and fellow learners, making sure it is the right place for your child to build a foundation for Primary School. We believe that skills and knowledge built in Pre-Primary Phase of a child’s life have a great impact on their aptitude and attitude in their future schooling careers and we have excellent staff and facilities to make sure that this is achieved.
The Ed-U City Campus: School of Business focuses on building the business leaders of tomorrow, by equipping them with the skills and drive needed to succeed. Our Short Learning Programmes are designed with the workplace in mind. We assist working adults in further developing abilities and enhancing current job positions; or in identifying, creating and capitalising on new employment opportunities. Our facilitators use their practical industry knowledge as a frame of reference for these programmes, ensuring delegates understand how to apply what they learn.
Ed-U Options Academy (TVET) Business College opened its doors in 2005. The need to train and educate students that do not qualify for University, was huge. Since the E-Square Education Enterprises Group did hugely successful Department of Labour training from 1998 to 2002 a strategic decision was made to adhere to the new SETA related training and vocational programmes. All the programmes offered via various SETA’s ranging from one-year certificates, N4 to N6 certificates, NATED diplomas and Distance learning are duly registered and accredited.
Full qualifications including Certificates and Diplomas, and Short Learning Programmes through the School of Business.
Programmes offered on a full-time basis maximize students time in class, but also allows them enough free time to enjoy socialising, taking part in sporting or cultural activities, or to fit in a part-time job. Classes are run on a two semester basis, starting in February and finishing in December. Students are encouraged to participate in all aspects of student life throughout the year.
